If you’ve ever fancied a KTM 1390 Super Duke R, but never thought it wasn't bonkers enough, this is the bike for you: the KTM 1390 Super Duke RR. It costs £24,999 and only 350 are being made. It uses the same 1350cc V-twin engine as the R and R Evo models, comes with a titanium Akrapovic slip-on can and makes the same claimed 187bhp. But it’s in the chassis department where the RR gets racier. It’s 11kg lighter thanks to forged seven-spoke aluminium wheels and swathes of carbon fibre bodywork. WP suspension is uprated with a gas fork cartridge kit and a top-spec race shock, tyres are semi-slick Michelin Power Cup 2 and everything is adjustable from the seat height to the levers and rearsets, including an easy switch to a race shift gear pattern. Stopping power comes courtesy of uprated Brembo HyPure calipers with carbon air scoops. In this video I get to take this very special super naked for a spin and take a look at its rivals.
