Honda’s CBR400RR NC29 is one of the most beautiful of all the Japanese import ‘pocket rockets’ of the early 90s, complete with its unconventional-shaped aluminium beam frame, ‘Gull-Arm’ swingarm and shell-suit paintjobs. The 399cc inline four-cylinder ‘Baby Blade’ made a claimed 59bhp @ 12,500rpm but was trimmed to 53bhp in 1994 to meet Japanese licence requirements.
