Back when I lived in South East Kent back in the day, good riding roads were few and far between - but it didn't take long to find one if you thought about it laterally: the epic D940 coast road from Calais to Le Touquet. After a quick early morning Channel Tunnel crossing we were in France and suddenly a Sunday morning ride felt like being on holiday. It was an adventure, but one you could be back home from in time for tea. In this video I return to the Gallic twisties on my Suzuki GSX-R750, stop at Le Touquet for lunch and show why Northern France is every bit as beautiful as down south.
