BMW struck gold when they released the R nineT in 2013. Not only did it coincide perfectly with the retro boom, it looked great and rode even better. There have been plenty of different versions over the years and it evolved into the R12 nineT in 2024 - complete with a new frame and Euro5+ tweaks. There have been some absolute corkers along the way, like the original R nineT and the latest R12 G/S... and some misses, like the R nineT Racer with its notoriously uncomfortable handlebars. But last year BMW produced this: the R 12 S. I’ve been gagging to ride it ever since it was released and in this video, I finally get the chance. Enjoy!
