All Change - Going Full-Time with Neevesy Bikes

After 24 years as a Road Tester for MCN, I’ve decided to leave and concentrate on my Neevesy Bikes YouTube channel. I’ve said goodbye to MCN but you’ll still see me here and elsewhere in the motorcycle world from time to time. It’s been an amazing ride and I’ll be forever grateful to MCN for giving me the opportunity that changed my life. I’ve ridden every bike I’ve ever wanted to ride, from MotoGP racers to maxi scooters, met my heroes and got to work alongside some very talented, generous and kind people. One of the things I’ve enjoyed most in recent times is the video side of things. I’ve been doing it since 2006 - from when YouTube was in its infancy - and in that time I’ve presented hundreds of MCN videos and edited many of them, too. I love the whole production process. That’s why I started this channel in 2012 to be creative, although at first I only produced racing vlogs. Things have evolved over the past few years, though, sparked by shooting and editing MCN videos in my bedroom during lockdown. In 2022 I also made a video for my channel about how I won my job in MCN’s Road Test Idol competition, which was popular and I enjoyed interacting with the viewers. That evolved into ‘Thanks for Asking’ Q&As and a growing community that I could interact with in a way I haven’t been able to do before. Since then I’ve shared my journey rebuilding a crashed Suzuki GSX-R750 with the help of my mate Bob and banged on about my guilty pleasure more than is probably healthy: my mighty Yamaha TMAX. I’ve also been able to feature some incredible classic motorbikes, specials and racers with their owners to get the stories behind them. Moving forward this channel will be more of the same but with the addition of new bike reviews, launches, product tests and features, which I’ll be attacking with the same journalistic verve as before. I hope you can join me for the ride. Thanks for watching and supporting and I hope you’ll join me on my new journey. I’ll see you very soon.
